8 days
[ s o t d]: Hopeless
haven't posted in 8 days...work has been CRAZY busy. we had a team of 5 and now there are 2 of us...but still work for a team of 5 people. i've also been dedicating more time to my part-time job so that i could make more money for my trip.
i can now officially start the countdown to Guam....22 days!! then i'll have 30 days of humidity, 30 days of the beachside, 30 days of girlfriends, 30 days of my parents, and 30 days of all the food i've been missing.
also finally received gratification by seeing Guam on TAR and was a bit disappointed that my favored teams were ousted and that it was a military recruitment. but my home still looked pretty and soon i'll be there!
but there are goals....like a reunion party, birthday celebrations, dedicated study time for my Architecture Licensing Exams, daily runs on the beach, exuberant hikes, visits to newborn babies, and even pilates.
in my life's soundtrack, "Hopeless" is my title track. it's a proclamation of acceptance. she knows her troubles but is strengthened by this. they can say i'm hopeless but i'm ready for what's ahead. it's a hopeless song of hope.
