amazing start
i have to do my obligatory amazing race rant! it's back and better than E V E R! the season opener had a seaplane landing in seattle, eleven diverse teams that are beyond the usual cast, routing to the east....to BEIJING!....where you see them eat fish eyeballs, greet the imperial army in the forbidden city, and scale the Great Wall! hair-raising goosebumps at the beginning and tears at the end....this show deserves the FOUR emmy awards and it's officially baaack! i can't contain myself. you are sOooOOO missing out if you haven't tuned in. now all i need is my grey's anatomy fix.
i went to walmart late last night and saw my coveted 20" flat panel TV that would fit perfectly on this small length of wall directly in my line of sight while laying down....it was even cheaper than when i first saw it (yay for walmart roll-back) and i was helplessly tempted to break out my credit card and go home with it but i had to restrain myself. exbf was sweet enough to sacrifice the small tv we share in his room and let me have it in mountain house. and now i am just about set up for all the prime time excitement! this set up is temporary until i get the flat panel.
