One absolutely undoubtable feeling with buying a new house is that it feels new because it IS new. The fresh palette beckons for inspiration and it also means you don't have to worry about disagreeable paint or tile from the previous owner. There are no finish upgrades to be done or woes about inadequate storage or old odors.
There is absolutely no rush in creating my perfect space and I am taking this rather seriously as I find all the unique and most importantly, CHEAP finds. My first item of business was to find the rug to inspire my color scheme/theme and so I did. I also found a very practical and stylish bed.
The blue rug goes in my bedroom to match my storage bed, which has black leather panelling. The brown rug will go in my bathroom. My bathroom will have magenta walls with chocolate trim. I'm so excited!
